Pollution of Kathmandu

We love to live in Kathmandu valley because it is in urban areas and all type of daily facilities are available in Kathmandu valley. That is a more populated than other city. It is an only one metropolitan city of Nepal. But, nowadays, we can see this city has been becoming more polluted. Specially, Pollution has been increasing because of ignorance of people, lack of strong governance.

There are soil, water, sound and air pollution in Kathmandu valley. There is big increment in population. As, human wants are unlimited, all the wants can't satisfied. If one is satisfied another automatically comes up. To fulfill their all demand, they have to use the natural resources in a maximum amount. That kind of their behavior leads to the maximum use of sources to get the output. This is the main cause of being pollution.

We can see a lot of garbage spreading  all over the valley. Local vendor are selling there goods in the main road of street. We also see the dead animal throwing in the vehicle running road. There are  unscientific industries. From there we receive bad sound, bad air, and bad liquid containing harmful chemical. Farmer of here uses the chemical things to increase their production.

Specially, in Kathmandu valley, people are not all aware of their environmental problem. The use all the natural resources and artificial production not having the perception of well knowledge. Despite being well educated, they don’t think over the problem which is harmful to our health. There is a   huge increment in the number of raod running vehicle. This is also a big cause of air pollution.

Therefore, there should be good governance to control the pollution in valley. There should be strict rules and regulation to the person who don’t fallow the government rule. People should be well educated having the awareness with the out come of pollution.

 

Traffic Problem in Kathmandu valley

            Katmandu valley is a small region surrounded by hill and most populated than other region. The population of valley is increasing rapidly day by day. Uses of the limited road have been increasing in the same ratio. This has been led the valley to a great problem. This is the traffic problem which is the problem of nation to all public; people are compelled to suffer that problem. The government is not able to solve the problem of traffic problem.

            People are excited to live in the valley to get and to ease all the modern facilities i.e. administrative office, employment, vehicle, hospital & good education etc. The number of running vehicle is increasing in a huge amount in the valley.  This has been a cause of great traffic problem. At present we can take the example of the accident of Sinduli which took the life of 41 untimely and tragedy. It was a great havoc for the country. Specially, in valley there has been a lot of road accident which led the life of people untimely. There is a question that who is the responsible for the tragedy accident since government is not implementing the rule and regulation on time, lack of awareness among public, illiterate people and ignorance of people and hesitate to use the traffic rule. 

On the occasion of the great festival of Hindus, Dashain and Tihar, vehicle owner are taking more hire than usual, keeping passenger more than the capacity of the vehicle. This has led to the unwanted chaos in the road accident. This type of accident alarming the country so all sectors are culpable as they are willing to be far from their liability.

            Therefore, all sectors should be responsible for their duties to render the unwanted accident in the road. We should spread awareness among the all the people, government should be for their responsibilities to reduce the road traffic problem.
